NO PROPER ID ?
If you are a registered voter but don't have any
acceptable form of ID when you come to the polls, you still have a right
to cast
a provisional ballot, which should be counted if:
-
You truthfully affirm in writing
that you are an eligible and registered voter,
AND
-
You do just ONE of the following
things:
-
provide the last four digits
of your Social Security number at the polling place, or
-
provide either a valid form
of ID or the last four digits of your Social Security number within
10 days of the election, or
-
if you don't have any acceptable
form of ID or a Social Security number, you affirm that fact in
writing.
Above all,
if you are at the correct precinct,
don't leave the polls without
at least voting a provisional
ballot.
ABSENTEE BALLOT
You are entitled to vote by absentee ballot in Ohio
without providing a reason. Absentee ballot applications may be obtained
from the Stark County Board of Election or the Ohio Secretary of State.
