The Canton League invites you to support our mission: Make Democracy Work! We welcome members from all walks of life, genders, ethnicities, and races to offer their perspectives and creative solutions. No matter our backgrounds, we are committed to supporting democratic systems and institutions. We invite you to:
  • Join a vibrant group of people who work to protect democracy, organize educational programs and events, stay informed about key issues, enjoy the fellowship of like-minded colleagues and attend member-only events.
  • Volunteer with League events and projects, such as registering voters, getting out the vote and showing others how they can stay informed about what’s happening in government. Click through to Volunteer section.
  • Donate in support of our pro-democracy activities. Donations never go to political parties or candidates. Click through to Donate section.

When you join the League, you add your voice to a dynamic organization, with chapters in more than 750 communities in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong. League members have the opportunity to attend fascinating webinars, forums and other special events with speakers who provide insights about how our government works and how every citizen can impact public policy. Learn about the policy positions of the Ohio League of Women Voters and U.S. League of Women Voters.
